Farm-to-Fork Meat Buying Clubs are popping up around the state. Joining a meat buying club helps to support local farmers and gives consumers the satisfaction of knowing where their food was produced and who produced it. Join an existing club or start one of your own!
The Triangle Meat Buying Club offers wholesome, flavorful and 100% antibiotic free meats and poultry available monthly. NC Choices’ farmers supplying meat are Rainbow Meadow Farms, Lazy J Ranch, and MAE Farm. Participants pay an annual $10 membership fee to cover operating costs. Ordering and delivery information is communicated via email. Visit www.trianglembc.com for more information.
Patrons of A Southern Season, a nationally acclaimed gourmet retailer known for its dedication to excellence, can purchase delicious meats and eggs produced by local farmer Bailey Newton of Triple B Farms. Newton raises hogs, beef and poultry sustainably—with high regard for the environment and animal welfare—and without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones. Orders are placed at the store.
