At Fickle Creek Farm we have created a system that has minimum impact on the environment, is sustainable, and includes humane treatment for the animals we keep. Our vegetables are naturally grown without pesticides, herbicides, or inorganic fertilizer. Our eggs and chicken come from free-ranging flocks on pasture that never receive hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products. Steers, pigs, and sheep are all raised on pasture without confinement, antibiotics, hormones, or grain finishing.  We participate yearly in the Piedmont Farm Tour and host two apprentices and four Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOFers) volunteers each year.  We sell our products at four local farmers' markets in central North Carolina (Durham, Eno River, South Estes, Western Wake) and at Weaver Street Markets in Carrboro and Hillsborough.
