On our family farm in Alamance County, NC, we raise registered Hereford cattle. We have a cow/calf operation where young calves are selected to be breeding prospects or to be utilized to feed our family and friends. We raise calves for beef on our farm and are able to see and care for them every day. When they are ready for slaughter, we utilize USDA/ FSIS inspected establishment that we have wokred with for years. We personally deliver the animals to this small facilty. This allows us to be confident in the humane handling throughout the animal's life.
