My pigs are on the land and are antibiotic free. The sows farrow on the land using a pig made cave as shelter. The boar hog stays in the field with the sows and no confinement is used. The sows are pets and are protective of their young. They have a heavy forage diet of native grasses, brush and are fed milk free choice.
I offer whole hog sausage, pork chops thin or thick cuts to order, whole ham roast and shoulders for BBQ. Whole or half hogs of varying weights by order. Stew cuts for kabobs, ribs whole rack or 3 inch cuts. Ground pork by order. I also offer goat on occasion when heard numbers allow.
I currently have CSA’s available by shipment or pick-up at the West Jefferson Farmers Market in Ashe county NC. Large orders may be delivered on Sunday or Monday due to market schedules. Also available on line from the web site and payable through pay pal.
